MY DYNAMIS

REFUEL s6K

ABOUT ME

"I love the taste, convenience, and the fact it is made with grass-fed whey, no upset stomach and I’ve never felt better on a protein powder! I also LOVE AminoPulse being in a pill form because I never forget to get my daily dose of Aminos and I don’t have to add any unnecessary sweeteners, colour and fillers along the way."

I was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. I have always been involved and interested with sports and fitness since a young age. I played a variety of sports throughout school, but was never very confident with myself. When I turned 18 I decided I wanted to hire a personal trainer to learn more about working out and feeling better in my own skin. As soon as I set foot in the gym with my trainer, I was hooked! I loved how working out made me feel, especially lifting weights. I gradually became more confident in myself and during this time found a keen interest in the fitness industry. My trainer at the time had recommended that I try out competing since I had such good work ethic in the gym and had great shape for bikini, as he told me. So I decided to go for it and jumped into my first bikini competition in 2012. I went into the competition just for fun and as a goal to work towards. After stepping on stage for the first time I ended up falling in love with the sport of bodybuilding and went on to compete a total of 9 times all over Canada and even internationally. The highlight of my competitive career was representing Canada at the IFBB Fitness World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. It was an immaculate experience being able to represent my province and country on such an elite, international stage. I chased my pro card for many shows and after 9 shows I finally turned pro at the Ben Weider Legacy Cup. I spent a solid five years competing all while completing my Bachelor of Education. Now I have taken a couple years away from the stage, while beginning my career as an educator. I look forward to returning to the stage as an IFBB Bikini Pro. During my time away from the stage, I have found other areas of fitness that I have fallen in love with. Such as being a group fitness instructor at RYDE RD, where I teach both spin and body classes. I love that I get to inspire other people along their fitness journey now! Competing taught me many things and much more than just how to get in shape. It gave me confidence, taught me dedication, perseverance and just how powerful your mind is. In order to reach any fitness goals, you need to have a strong mindset and believe in yourself. I am proud that I get to encourage and motivate others to become their best selves. Whether it be in the classroom, the spin studio or at the gym, I love helping others reach their goals. I am beyond excited to be working alongside team DYNAMIS now!
